Installation:

It is recommended to use the BP14 LUX COK drip edge strip with aluminum starter strips. The BP14 LUX COK strip should be adhered from the bottom onto the aluminum starter strip using a special foam adhesive tape provided on the BP14 LUX COK strip. Next, the fiberglass mesh attached to the BP14 LUX COK strip should be glued to the surface of the thermal cladding using adhesive for embedding the fiberglass mesh in “light-wet” insulation systems. Then, the mesh should be covered with a minimum overlap of 10cm using the facade fiberglass mesh, and both meshes should be secured with adhesive. The BP14 LUX COK strip provides a very aesthetic and even finish to the lower part of the facade in the form of a solid PVC drip edge, and most importantly, it eliminates the common issue of cracking between the aluminum starter strip and the structural plaster.
