1 liter of paint covers an average of about 9 square meters, depending on the texture and absorbency of the surface, the method of surface preparation, the experience of the applicator, the number of coats applied, and the application method used.

Substrate preparation:

The surface should be:

• stable,
• dry and well-ventilated,
• clean, i.e. free from dust, dirt, wax, and grease, as well as old paint coatings that may weaken the adhesion of the paint,
• even, without cracks or holes, which should be repaired before painting,
• primed – for highly porous or dusty surfaces, use a primer such as PRIMER, while for non-porous surfaces like gypsum boards or surfaces coated with emulsion paints, a primer is not necessary and you can apply the INITIUM COLOR undercoat paint directly.

Paint preparation:

The paint is supplied in a ready-to-use form. It should not be mixed with other materials. Before use, it should be thoroughly stirred to achieve a uniform consistency.

Painting:

The paint should be applied to the prepared surface in a thin and even layer. Painting can be done using a roller, brush, or spray method. Depending on the absorbency and texture of the surface, one or two coats of paint should be applied. The second coat of paint should be applied only after the complete drying of the first coat. The application of the topcoat and decorative paint can begin after approximately 2 hours when the applied undercoat paint is sufficiently dry.
