Description
The Effect allows for creating an individual and unique moss-covered wall. Thanks to precisely selected components, it delicately reflects the light, creating the impression of morning dew on the forest floor.
The Effect is available as a complete set of products:
- PRODUCT 1 – DECORATIVE MOSS in a light green color,
- PRODUCT 2 – DECORATIVE MOSS in a dark green color,
- 40 ml PIGMENT CONCENTRATE – chocolate bar color,
- tiling sponge.
Properties:
The use of glass microspheres as a filler offers the following benefits:
- It does not contain free, crystalline, chemically unbound silica SiO2 and does not pose a threat to workers or the natural environment.
- It reduces the shrinkage of coatings during drying, allowing for thicker layers to be applied without the risk of cracking.
- The coating does not require impregnation.
- It has high mechanical strength (impact resistance), making it suitable for large objects such as hotels.
- It improves resistance to UV radiation.
- It improves insulating properties.
- It reduces water absorption.
- It can be used in areas with high humidity.

On average, the consumption rate of the products is:
- Light green decorative moss (MECH DEKORACYNY) is approximately 1.4 kg/m² (5 kg of product covers around 3.5 m² of decoration).
- Dark green decorative moss (MECH DEKORACYNY) is approximately 0.5 kg/m² (1.7 kg of product covers around 3.5 m² of decoration). The actual supply will depend on the substrate’s texture and absorbency, the method of its preparation, the desired decorative effect, and the experience of the applicator.
The stages of creating an effect.
Stage I.
Stain Bonding Primer with a Chocolate Bar pigment (the pigment is included in the kit) and prime entire surface.
Stage II.
Apply the Product 1 with a sponge. Add the Product 2 at some places.
Stage III.
Merge product colours by stamping surface with a dry sponge in order to obtain smooth colour transition.
