WIM Primer – 5kg

It is designed for priming and strengthening excessively absorbent substrates, both old and new. It reduces the absorbency of lime and gypsum plasters, gypsum boards, anhydrite screeds, aerated concrete blocks, as well as ceramic and silicate bricks. It strengthens old, dusty substrates and evens out the setting time of adhesive mortars, leveling compounds, and self-leveling compounds. It is recommended before laying floor underlayments, applying mineral renders, and before painting. It is suitable for priming fiberboard and wood substrates before ceramic tile installation. It can be used indoors and outdoors.

• It is a product based on the highest quality water-based acrylic resin dispersion.
• High penetration ability, deeply penetrating the substrate, thereby strengthening and equalizing its absorbency across the entire surface.
• Prevents excessive moisture absorption from mortars into the substrate, allowing for uniform curing rate and achieving the desired strength parameters.
• It is characterized by fast drying.
• The primed surface increases the adhesion of applied adhesives, renders, and other mortars, while reducing paint consumption.
• Once dried, the primer is colorless.
• It is permitted to dilute the product in a 1:1 ratio.

The consumption of the product may vary depending on the absorbency of the substrate. The average consumption ranges from 0.05 to 0.2 kg per 1 m².
