  • What makes Ceresit Visage different from standard CT60?
While standard Ceresit CT60 is focused on vibrant, solid colors, the Visage line is focused on architectural design. It features a unique color palette inspired by sand, stone, and earth, often using finer grain sizes to achieve a more refined, contemporary look.
  • Is CT60 Visage suitable for External Wall Insulation (EWI)?
Yes. CT60 Visage is highly recommended for EPS (Polystyrene) insulation systems. Its high flexibility allows it to withstand the thermal movements associated with insulated facades without cracking.
  • Can CT60 Visage be applied by spray?
While it is primarily applied by trowel to achieve a "stone" texture, certain Visage finishes can be spray-applied for a more uniform, modern appearance. Always consult the technical data sheet for specific grain size application methods.
  1. Substrate Preparation: Surface must be smooth and level; any imperfections will show through the fine Visage grain.
  2. Priming: Use Ceresit CT16. For Visage, the primer must be tinted to the exact shade of the render to ensure the natural color depth is achieved.
  3. Mixing: Stir thoroughly. Do not use rusty tools or high-speed mixers that could introduce air.
  4. Application: Apply with a stainless steel float held at an angle.
  5. Finishing: Use a plastic float to create the specific architectural texture required by the project design.
  • Pro-Tip for Large Elevations: To avoid "shading" or color differences on large walls, always check the batch numbers on the tubs and mix 2–3 tubs together in a larger container to ensure color consistency.
  • Pro-Tip for Maintenance: To preserve the "Natural" look of the Visage line, avoid using high-pressure power washers at close range. A gentle low-pressure wash with a soft brush is sufficient to maintain the finish.

CERESIT® CT 60 is used for making building facades with the use of stencils which imitate clinker bricks or natural stones. As facade plaster, it is one of the components used within CERESIT Ceretherm ETICS with application of expanded polystyrene boards and mineral wool. It can be used on concrete surfaces, traditional cement plasters, gypsum surfaces, chipboards, drywall boards. In case of dark colours, application over additional heating systems should be limited to small areas. Available pack size: 25 kg
