Description
DECORATIVE EFFECT
It creates an exclusive decorative coating for interior walls, with an effect reminiscent of ancient decorative techniques. A characteristic feature of surfaces finished in this way is the interpenetration of layers.
Set composition.
The products necessary to achieve the decorative effect are sold in one package:
- PRODUCT 1 – CLASSIC VENETIAN PLASTER color 1 – packaging 4 kg
- PRODUCT 2 – CLASSIC VENETIAN PLASTER color 2 – packaging 0.5 kg
- PRODUCT 3 – CLASSIC VENETIAN PLASTER color 3 – packaging 0.5 kg
- PRODUCT 4 – METALLIC VARNISH COPPER – packaging 1.1 kg
- set of tools necessary to perform the decoration: (sponge roller, brush, sponge, trowel, masking tape, painting foil).
Surface preparation
The surface can be made of: plaster, concrete, stone, plasterboard, wood-like materials, and all load-bearing substrates after their previous cleaning and preparation. The substrate should be sufficiently load-bearing, seasoned, cleaned of layers that could weaken the adhesion of the product, especially dust, dirt, lime, oils, fats, and remnants of paints. The substrate should be primed with a PRIMER emulsion.
The average consumption for each product is:
- PRODUCT 1 – approximately 0.40 kg/m2 (4 kg of product covers approximately 10 m2 of decoration)
- PRODUCT 2 – approximately 0.05 kg/m2 (0.5 kg of product covers approximately 10 m2 of decoration)
- PRODUCT 3 – approximately 0.05 kg/m2 (0.5 kg of product covers approximately 10 m2 of decoration)
- PRODUCT 4 – approximately 0.11 kg/m2 (1.1 kg of product covers approximately 10 m2 of decoration)
The average consumption depends on the substrate’s structure and absorbency, the way it’s prepared, the intended decorative effect, and the experience of the applicator.
Copper – stages of creating the effect:
Stage I: We apply PRODUCT 1 onto the surface primed with PRIMER BOND.
Stage Ia: We create a textured effect on the wet plaster using a roller.
Stage II: We apply PRODUCT 2 in a non-continuous application on the wet texture obtained from PRODUCT 1.
Stage III: On the still damp PRODUCT2, we apply PRODUCT 3 in a non-continuous application.
Stage IV: We shape the pattern by dragging a trowel flatly over the still moist material. Then, after it dries, we repeatedly drag the edge of the trowel over it to make the structure shine.
Stage V: After the texture has dried, we cover the surface with Metallic Varnish using a brush.
Stage Va: We remove the excess with a metal trowel.
The final effect.
